Grombrindal — the White Dwarf — is an ancient and legendary duardin whose name in Khazalid translates as “The White-Bearded Ancestor.” Viewed as almost an equal to Grungni himself, he is a being of extraordinary power and wisdom, reincarnated to unite the clans of the Mortal Realms. He appears wherever his kin face their most desperate moments — a kind, grandfatherly elder, a sharp-witted protector, a fierce and unparalleled warrior. Grombrindal is whatever the duardin need him to be. But regardless of the role he takes, his enemies have learned to fear the bite of his axe.
Released to celebrate the landmark 500th issue of White Dwarf magazine, this miniature depicts Grombrindal in full battle fury, bedecked in duardin accessories — including Kharadron Overlord and Fyreslayer ornaments — standing triumphantly on an outcropping of rock surrounded by the discarded armaments of his enemies. The model is posed on a scenic base replete with the remains of his foes, holding aloft the Rune Axe of Grimnir in a suitably heroic stance.
This multipart plastic kit comprises 8 components, including a scenic base, and includes Legends rules for use in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, as well as rules for Warcry, Warhammer Underworlds, and Warhammer Quest: Cursed City — published in White Dwarf issue 500.
